Opera House offered Locust Honey
Locust Honey performed at the Opera House on Friday, July 22. The duo of Chloe Edmonstone and Meredith Watson entertained a crowd. Using guitars, fiddles, banjos, and with Shepherdstown’s own John Miller, a member of The Fox Hunt and The Hackensaw Boys, on bass, Locust Honey brought old timey folk songs to new life.
Opening was Shepherdstown’s own Chelsea McBee, who got the modest crowd in the opera house started with a few songs on her banjo. Locust Honey then took to the stage to perform a few of their own songs.
Chloe and Meredith left the stage to give the audience an opportunity to hear a couple of songs from John Miller, who switched to guitar for his performance. Locust Honey then returned to the stage to close out the show.
