Area clergy from Jefferson County will host a community prayer service on Sunday; Aug. 14. This ecumenical prayer service will help promote spiritual healing for students, families, faculty, staff and the entire Jefferson High School community; allowing a fresh start as the new school year begins.

The service will begin at 6 p.m. in the Jefferson High School Auditorium, 4141 Flowing Springs Road,. This 45-minute service will consist of prayers, scripture, music, silence and candle lighting. There will also be an opportunity for individual healing prayers following the service.
