Required high school vaccines available at Health Department
On Saturday, Aug. 13 and Wednesday Aug. 17, Jefferson County Health Department will administer Tdap and meningococcal shots, which are required for West Virginia students entering seventh and twelfth grades.
The department will also offer the HPV vaccine, which helps prevent several types of cancer. No appointment needed, just walk in.
Parents should bring their driver’s license or other photo identification; their child’s up to date immunization record; and the child’s health insurance card(s).
