On Saturday, Aug, 27, the Mountaineer Food Bank mobile food pantry will distribute free food at Covenant Church, 7485 Shepherdstown Pike to families in need meeting the following criteria: Household size, gross monthly income and gross annual income. The food giveaway will begin at 11 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. as supplies last.

Families are asked to bring a box or laundry basket to carry food and will need to supply name, address and phone number.
