By Staff | Sep 2, 2016

The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County will be having their annual fall Rabies Clinic on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Tractor Supply in Charles Town, from 10 a.m.12 p.m.

Dr. Alice Sudduth, DVM will vaccinate dogs and cats over three months of age. All dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers. There will be a secure, enclosed area available to safely vaccinate cats. The vaccination cost is $10 for each pet.

If a pet has been previously vaccinated, the owner must bring previous Rabies Certificate to receive a three year Vaccination and Certificate. If this is a pet’s first rabies vaccine or they are overdue, the vaccine will be valid for one year. For faster registration- go to www.awsjc.org to the rabies clinic tab. Fill out the owner/pet information form for each pet and bring to the clinic.
