Proceeds will help support the Friends and its Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra.
The event will be held from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Those who attend will be able to watch the evening’s races from the comfort of the Skyline Terrace of the Hollywood Casino while enjoying an all-you-can-eat prime rib and seafood buffet dinner.
Tickets will be $60 per person, which includes dinner and unlimited soft drinks. A cash bar will be available. $24 of the ticket price is tax-deductible.
Individuals and businesses can also sponsor one of the evening’s races on behalf of the Friends of Music for a $200 contribution. Sponsors will have their names printed in the evening’s race program and announced before the race.
After the race, they will be escorted to the track, have their picture taken with the winning horse and jockey and the owner, and be presented with a small trophy. Each sponsorship includes two free tickets to the event and $93 of the sponsorship amount is tax-deductible.
Tickets and sponsorships can be ordered online on the Friends website at www.friendswv.org. Or checks can be sent to Friends of Music, PO Box 220, Shepherdstown, WV 25443.
