Gardener’s Group to meet Sept. 17
The next GEG meeting will take place on Sept. 17 at 9 a.m. at the home of Julie and Wayne Neely. The focus is “Invasives and You.”
Louise Finch, master gardener, will describe the traits of invasive plants and discuss the environmental importance of controlling them. She will give examples of invasive plants in West Virginia. Breakfast is at 9 a.m. Please bring a breakfast dish to share, a chair to sit on, extra plants and enthusiasm. Program begins at 9:30 a.m., rain or shine.
About the GEG plant exchange: Those with extra seeds or seedlings or too many perennials are encouraged to bring them to share with GEG members. Please identify the plants.
