Janet and Van Marsceau were recognized on Sept. 4 during church services at Fellowship Bible Church in Shenandoah Junction. Van serves as the lead pastor for the ever-growing congregation and has been in that position for 20 years. Joined by his wife, Janet, who plays organ for the church as well as leads classes, he came on board at FBC when the church was just five years old. Van had served as youth pastor at Independent Bible Church in Hedgesville prior to coming to FBC. Chairman of the Elder Board, Bob Iwig, right, congratulates the couple with a plaque of appreciation and a gift from the congregation.
