There’s always room at the table Soup Supper
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, the Partnership for Affordable Housing, Inc. is sponsoring its first annual “There’s always..ROOM at the TABLE Soup Supper” to help bring awareness to the pressing issues of hunger and homelessness in the community.
Proceeds will benefit Jefferson County Community Ministries, Jefferson County Leasing Program and Jefferson County Affordable Housing Programs.
Please join in for a choice of delicious soups, drinks, bread and desserts on Friday, Nov. 4 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Charles Town Presbyterian Church. 220 E. Washington Street, Charles Town.
There will be a program starting at 5:45 p.m. with a special presentation by Pastor John Unger who will share his experiences from his recent visit to Vatican City and the at the canonization of St. Teresa of Calcutta at 5:45 p.m.
At 6 p.m. the Country Hams Barbershop Quartet will perform.
Tickets are available for a reduced purchase price prior to the event for $15 for adults and $10 for children under 12 years of age.
They can be purchased at the Ranson Convention and Visitors Bureau, 216 N. Mildred Street in Ranson and City National Bank locations. Cost of tickets at the door will be a higher price.
