Shepherd swears in new police officer

Shepherd University has sworn in a new member of its police department.

Dr. Mary J.C. Hendrix, president, gave Zachary Ray of Martinsburg the oath of office during a ceremony on Nov. 7.

Ray comes to Shepherd from the Fairfax County (Virginia) Police Department where he worked

one year.

Ray is a 2014 Shepherd graduate. Shepherd’s police department has ten full-time and four part-time officers.
