Art Market at Shepherd University
Recognized by the State of West Virginia as a Program of Distinction, the Department of Contemporary Art and Theater at Shepherd University is pleased to announce that the annual department wide Art Market will take place on Friday, Dec. 2 from 3-7 p.m. in the Center for Contemporary Arts (Phase I, rooms 112-115). Students, faculty, and alumni, from all disciplines, will be selling original artworks at affordable prices just in time for the holidays. This event is free and open to the public.
Shoppers will find everything they are looking for at this year’s Art Market, including one of a kind drawings, paintings, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, hand made jewelry, photography and various graphic design products, such as note cards, postcards, stickers, etc.
Stop by to do some holiday shopping and support the arts at Shepherd University. Cash and check is preferred though many student artists will be able to accept credit cards. And while there, take some time to explore both buildings that make up the Center for Contemporary Arts. Parking is limited near the Center for Contemporary Arts, but guests may park in any nearby lot after 4 p.m. without a permit.
