Buy tickets now at the Shepherdstown Public Library or online at www.foslwv.org/ — Buy early and save! Tickets discounted if purchased through Jan. 18: $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12. After Jan. 18, the prices will be $25 for adults and $15 for children under 12. Proceeds benefit the excellent programming at the Shepherdstown Public Library.

Originally performed from 1989 to 1995 and revived in 2004, the Rumsey Radio Hour is Shepherdstown’s version of National Public Radio’s Prairie Home Companion. It features music and comedy with a full array of old-time radio sound effects.

The star-studded cast includes WHAG’s Mark Kraham; nationally acclaimed story teller and Shepherd University Appalachian Studies professor Adam Booth; Shepherd Professor Emeritus Phil Bufithis; and other famously talented artists including Todd Coyle, Clissy Funkhouser, Grace Geiger, Nina Geiger, Hope Snyder, Don Oehser, Laura First and Ed Zahniser. The production is once again directed by Peggy McKowen, associate producing director of the Contemporary American Theater Festival (CATF).

For awesome music, zinging political satire, hilarious comedy and tall tales galore, this is a not-to-be-missed event! Seating is limited and the performances sell out quickly, so buy tickets now.
