Parking plans announced for gameday
Shepherd University will be hosting the University of North Alabama for the NCAA II Football Championship semifinal game on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Ram Stadium. Town leaders, business owners and Shepherd representatives have worked together to plan adequate free parking for both holiday shoppers wishing to go downtown and Ram fans attending the game, which begins at noon on Saturday.
Fans planning to attend the game are asked to park on Shepherd’s West Campus. Parking on West Campus is free, and complimentary shuttle buses will run continuously from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. shuttling fans to and from the game.
Shoppers who wish to travel downtown may find free parking at the Clarion Hotel and Quality Inn, with hotel vans running from each hotel to downtown Shepherdstown. Additional vans will shuttle shoppers from the parking lot at St. Agnes Catholic Church.
Tickets to the playoff game will be $10, general public and $5 for students with valid Rambler ID. Reserved tickets are available online from the Shepherd Bookstore at www.shepherdbook.
