Rotary Club inducts new member

The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown has inducted Kimberly Reed as a new member.

The induction ceremony was held at the Club’s Dec. 6 regular breakfast meeting at the Bavarian Inn.

A native of Baltimore, Reed recently relocated to West Virginia. She is presently employed with Transamerica Agency Network as an insurance agent with a client base throughout West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland. She lives in Hedgesville.

Her career in banking and insurance spans 25 years. Prior to Transamerica, she worked for Morgan Stanley Bank and held the position of Vice President for operations and global loan services. Previously, she worked at M&T Bank as a Vice President responsible for Customer Relations, Corporate Servicing and Operations.

While residing in Baltimore, Kim was active in many community service organizations. She is currently working with the Hedgesville community and her homeowner association there to develop an aging in place program for area residents modeled after Shepherdstown Area Independent Living, Inc. (SAIL).

The Shepherdstown Rotary Club’s membership currently totals 69.
