Dining can help AWS

By Staff | Jan 6, 2017

The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County is proud to announce their participation in the Dining for Dollars fundraiser at Glory Days Grill in Ranson which began Jan.1 and continues through the end of the year. Every time you dine during the entire year at Glory Days Grill in Ranson, the restaurant will contribute 10 percent of the total food purchases to the Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County. Bring neighbors, friends and relatives; then keep the copy of the guest check (not credit card receipt). Either mail it to AWS P.O. Box 147, Charles Town, WV, 25414, place it in the collection box at Petco in Ranson, give to a board member or drop it off at the shelter on Leetown Pike.

This is a great opportunity to grab family and friends, enjoy a great meal and help support the efforts of AWS to help take care of the needs of the abandoned, abused and surrendered animals of Jefferson and surrounding counties. The Animal Welfare Society is a non-profit, no-kill shelter and United Way agency located on Leetown Pike near the Jefferson County Fairgrounds and has been serving the community since 1952. For more information about AWS and to view adoptable pets visit the web site at www.awsjc.org or 304-725-0589.
