Winter hike set at Schoolhouse Ridge South
On Saturday, Jan. 28, at 1:45 p.m., join the Trail and Town Alliance of Harpers Ferry and Bolivar for a hike of Schoolhouse Ridge South in Harpers Ferry National Historical Park.
The hike leader is Clark Dixon who will lead the group along all the battlefield trails in about two hours.
Along the way, participants will learn some of the historical significance of this area and enjoy the wide-open views of winter. This trip is rated moderate; wear appropriate clothes for the weather and footgear for dirt trails on rolling terrain. The hike will take place in light rain or snow but will be canceled in case of a major storm.
