General Adam Stephen Chapter NSSAR meeting held Jan. 20 at Purple Iris
The General Adam Stephen Chapter, National Society Sons of the American Revolution held their winter dinner-meeting on Jan. 20 at the Purple Iris in Martinsburg. The speaker for the evening was Miss Taylor Fritz, state president, West Virginia Society, National Society Children of the American Revolution.
The program focused on her duties and experiences during her time as State President. She also talked about her state project, Books for Children.
The business portion of the meeting included our election of new officers for the coming two years. Martin Keesecker of Martinsburg was elected as our new President. The group also inducted two new members, Dale E Winstead of Berkeley Springs and Drake Jenkins of Charles Town. The group’s spring meeting will be held on Apr. 7 which is a change from a previous announcement.
