First Friday Coffeehouse set Mar. 3
First Friday Coffeehouse will feature award-winning songwriter Steve Warner with Andy Mosholder and Rob Scheweiler. The event is held Mar. 3 at Trinity Orchard House. Doors open for social time and open mic sign-up at 7 p.m. All open mic participants should be there early to get a slot to perform. The open mic hour starts at 7:30 and is followed by the feature acts.
The Steve Warner Trio offers a unique blend Americana-flavored music that is stylistically rooted in traditional folk and country with a hints of bluegrass, swing and classic pop . . . all anchored by fresh tunes that one might think they’ve heard before. Warner plays guitar, ukulele and harmonica; Mosholder plays bass and cello; and Schuweiler adds mandolin and guitar.
Warner’s songs are spiced with humor, emotion and vivid imagery that conjures up writers like John Prine and Steve Goodman. His lyrical word play can intrigue and inspire, make one laugh and sometimes cry. A common thread is that they are universally accessible, with memorable themes and melodies.
Enjoy a great evening of music and fellowship. Snacks and refreshments served. Trinity Orchard House is located at 4599 Shepherdstown Road, Martinsburg. A $10 donation per person is requested. For more information, contact Steve Warner at 304-676-4422.
