Shepherd to host teach-in on fake news and polling
A teach-in sponsored by the Shepherd University Department of Political Science will explore the world of fake news and polling. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Wednesday, Mar. 29, from noon-1 p.m. in the Robert C. Byrd Center for Congressional History and Education auditorium.
Panelists will be Dr. Stephanie Slocum-Schaffer, associate professor of political science; Dr. Aart Holtslag, assistant professor of political science; and Dr. James Lewin, professor of English and a journalism expert. Dr. Joseph Robbins, associate professor of political science and chair of the political science department, will moderate the discussion.
