25 regional artists juried into the 2017 Cumberland Valley Artists and Photographers Exhibit at the Washington County Museum of Fine Art in Hagerstown, Maryland will be bringing their work to Shepherdstown for an exhibit at The Bridge Gallery. The selected works of art include photography, sculpture, paintings and drawings by artists from the 4 state area. Included in the exhibit will be Arthur Hayes, winner of the Juror’s award for his painting ‘Gladys’, Bearnie Young, winner of a Juror’s award in photography for “Whitney” and award winners Sterling ( Rip ) Smith and Bruce Wilder, both in photography. Information regarding membership and activities at the Museum will be available during the exhibit. The “Selections from the Cumberland” Exhibit will open on Saturday, April 22 with a reception from 6 to 8 pm; an additional reception will be held Sunday afternoon, April 23 from 2-4.
