The Apollo Civic Theatre, 128 E. Martin St., in Martinsburg, continues its 2016-17 season with the hilarious adult comedy, “It’s Only Murder,” by Sam Bobrick. The play runs April 21-30, with show times of 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays.

Jerome Teppel is a naive accountant who discovers that his wife, Francine, may not be as scatter-brained as she has led him to believe. Francine has a few surprises hidden up her sleeve that impacts Jerome’s life in more ways than he could ever imagine. Directed by J.D. Wine and assisted by Sara Gordon, the area premiere of “It’s Only Murder” is not recommended for children under 13.
