Women for Shepherd to host wine tour and tasting
Women for Shepherd University, in conjunction with the Shepherd University Foundation, will host an evening at Big Cork Vineyards in Rohrersville, Maryland, on Wednesday, May 3, at 6 p.m. Shepherd alumnus Randy Thompson and his wife, Jenny, welcome Women for Shepherd and guests to take an up-close and personal look at the vineyard, including a presentation by vintner Dave Collins and a tasting of Big Cork wines.
Tickets for the event, which is open to the public, are $30 and include heavy hors d’oeuvres, a full tasting, and a glass of wine. A cash bar will be offered and a limited number of seats on a complimentary shuttle are available. Reservations are requested by April 26.
