Victoria and John Canning, of Shenandoah Junction, welcomed their son, Brandon Michael Vincent Canning at 12:11 p.m. Jan. 15, 2015 at Jefferson Medical Center. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 7.1 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Welcoming her brother was Kalli Canning, age 5.

Paternal grandparents are Patricia Welch, Hedgesville and John Canning, Edgewater, Maryland; paternal great-grandparent is Elfriede Young, Shepherdstown. Maternal grandparent is Laura Cathcart, Shenandoah Junction; maternal great-grandparent is June Cathcart, also of Shenandoah Junction.
