Zack and Shelly Stowell, of Carrollton, Virginia announce the birth of their son, Bowen Zachary, at 6:07 a.m. Jan. 13, 2015, at Sentara Obici Hospital. He weighed 6, pounds, 15 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Bill and Nina Hockman of Shepherdstown.

Maternal great-grandparents are Cletus Hockman of Shepherdstown, and the late Delores Hockman and, Jim and Edel Hau of Salisbury, North Carolina.

Paternal grandparents are Mike and Tina Stowell of Hagerstown, Maryland.

Paternal great-grandparents are Phyllis Stowell of Hagerstown and the late John Stowell, Barbara Nuttall of Hagerstown, and the late Thomas Nuttall.
