Angel McDaniel and Steven Bittinger announce the birth of their son, Steven Wilson Bittinger, at 10:39 a.m. on Aug. 25, 2017, at Jefferson Medical Center.

He weighed 8 pounds, 15.7 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandmother is Marie McDaniel, of Harpers Ferry.

Paternal grandparents are Gary Jr. and Lucy Free, of Jefferson, Maryland.

Paternal great-grandfather is Gary Free Sr., of Brunswick, Maryland.

Waiting at home is Bentlee McDaniel, 3.
