Jennifer Lynn Foster and Najee David Foster, of Inwood, welcomed Maxton Bane Foster into the world on Oct. 23 at 1:52 a.m. At birth, Maxton measured 20 inches tall and weighed seven pounds and 10 ounces. His paternal grandparents are Angela Foster, of Hagerstown, and David Foster, of Cumberland. His maternal grandparents are Lora and Todd Whitmore, of Falling Waters. His maternal great-grandparents are Joyce and Ron Heginbotham, of Martinsburg.

Amanda and Alan Patterson, of Morgantown, welcomed their son, Benjamin Alan Patterson into the world at the Mon General Medical Center on Oct. 21 at 12:05 a.m. At birth, Benjamin measured 17.5 inches tall, and weighed five pounds and 15 ounces.
