His paternal grandparents are George Stanton and Darlene Stanton, of Berkeley Springs. His paternal great-grandmother is Barbara Barrett, of Hedgesville. His maternal grandparents are Wendy Schur and Arthur Schur, of Berkeley Springs. His maternal great-grandparents are Pam Shanholtz and Wayne Shanholtz, of Berkeley Springs, and Margeritia Bauserman, of Cross Junction, Va.
