Jessica and Korey Hopkins, of Charles Town, welcomed Alexander William Hopkins into the world on Dec. 8, 2023 at 1:58 a.m. At birth, Alexander measured 21.5 inches tall and weighed eight pounds and 10 ounces. His paternal grandparents are Gerry and Nancy McIntire, of Harpers Ferry, and Bill and Mary Hopkins, of Silver Spring, Md. His paternal great-grandmother is Jean Stone, of Stephens City, Va. His maternal grandparents are Tom and Pam Chaffin, of Sweetser, Ind. His maternal great-grandmother is Mina Etchison, of Marion, Ind.
