Mary Katherine and Paul James Rankin, Jr., of Hedgesville, welcomed Wyatt Tucker Rankin into the world on Nov. 17, 2025 at 1:31 p.m. At birth, Wyatt measured 21 inches tall and weighed seven pounds and 13 ounces. His paternal grandparents are Paul and Wilma Rankin, of Hedgesville. His maternal grandparents are Ben Weese, of Harpers Ferry, and April Shaffer, of North Carolina. His maternal great-grandmother is Sharon Custer, of Inwood.
