SHEPHERDSTOWN – Alternative rock band Lonely London Lad’s front man, Robert Savage, will hold a 12-hour “Meet & Greet” 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the War Memorial Building in Shepherdstown.

Lonely London Lad is comprised of Savage, from Shepherdstown; Johnny rK, of Los Angeles; and Billy Fuller, of Bristol, England, who also is part of Led Zeppelin Robert Plant’s band The Strange Sensation and Portishead Geoff Barrow’s BEAK.

The band has released two albums with a third in production. SHINDIG! Magazine in the United Kingdom described Savage as “Ray Davies for the 2010s.”

The Meet & Greet will include informal activities throughout the day, raffles for LLL merchandise and a free screening of music videos at 9 p.m.
