SHEPHERDSTOWN -The Shepherd University department of athletics has teamed up with the Ram Gridiron Club to present the Ram Chalk Talk lunch series.

On Fridays before Shepherd’s five home football games this fall, alumni and fans can join head coach Monte Cater for lunch, get an insider’s look at the upcoming opponent and be updated on the Shepherd football team.

Shepherd Director of Athletics B.J. Pumroy, head coaches from other varsity sports and student-athletes from various teams will be on hand to greet and meet with fans and alumni.

“This is a great opportunity for Shepherd fans to come out and hear first-hand from our coaches and student-athletes on what is happening in Ram athletics,” Pumroy said.

The Ram Chalk Talk series will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Sept. 10 and 17, Oct. 8 and 15, and Nov. 12 in the Shepherd University Wellness Center on the West Campus.

Lunch will be provided and everyone will have a chance to win great raffle prizes. Tickets are $10 and available at the door.
