The Kiwanis Club of Shepherdstown and the Key Club of Jefferson High School will be holding their 8th annual Children’s Benefit Auction today, May 6 in the cafeteria of Jefferson High School.

The preview and silent auction begin at 6:30 p.m. and the “live” auction with Densil Nibert will take place at 7 p.m.

Many useful and decorative items, gift certificates, baked goods, jewelry and sporting equipment and tickets will be offered. A Coach purse, a 32″ HD-TV and a Myrtle Beach resort vacation week in July will also be auctioned.

Food will be available for purchase. The public is encouraged to attend.

The proceeds will be returned to the community, mostly in support of children and youth.
