Shepherdstown Elementary will hold two sessions of its annual “Rise and Shine Camp” this summer. The camp is open to rising first through sixth graders from any school district. The first session runs weekdays from June 16 to June 27 and July 7 to 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon each day.

Staffed by Shepherdstown Elementary teachers the camp will focus on reading, math, and science integrated with the arts. Families interested in sending their children to the camp may visit the school’s website or come to the office to get an application. The camp operates with generous grants from the Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation and the Shepherdstown Elementary Association.
