George David Cooper

George David Cooper, 78, of Shepherdstown, passed away Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born July 7, 1935, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late George Emanuel and Mary Elva Longanecker Cooper.

He was a doctor of pyschology with the Maryland Division of Corrections.

He received his BA in Liberal Arts and Secondary Education from Shepherd College in 1957 and later his Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from Duke University in 1962.

Services and interment will be private.
