Jessica Diane Alford

Jessica Diane Alford, 30, of Shepherdstown, passed away to her heavenly home, on Nov. 28, 2013, while surrounded by the thoughts and prayers of her family and friends.

She was born on Sept. 27, 1983, and was a member of Sousannah Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her father, Kenny (Mary) Alford of Ona, W.Va.; mother, Libby (Dennis) Nester Smith of Shepherdstown; stepsister, Janelle (Chris) Colt of Flatwoods, Ky.; stepbrother, Doug (Cindy) Booth of Salt Rock, W.Va.; special sister and friend, Cindi (Robbie) Whitmore; and three special nieces, Allina, Cassidy, and Madison of Shenandoah Junction; and a host of friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bruce “Bun” and Jessie Settle Alford; maternal grandparents, Ray Nester and Mary Pullen Nester; and special cousin, Travis Prichard.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, at Sousannah Freewill Baptist Church, in Culloden, W.Va.
