Martha L. Engle

Martha L. Engle, 80, of Martinsburg, went to be with her Lord peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Willow Tree Manor in Charles Town.

Born on April 17, 1933 in Berkeley County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer F. and L. Virginia LeMaster Crim.

She is survived by daughters, Diane Adams and husband Rick, of Berkeley Springs, Brenda Loudan and husband Bobby, of Bunker Hill, and Christina Engle and fiance Greg Boyd, of Pikeside, whom she resided with. She was also survived by grandchildren; great- grandchildren; and one sister, Lydia Manspile, of Shepherdstown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Engle Jr. in 2002; a daughter, Dorcas Funk; a son, John D. Engle; and twin grandchildren, James Robert and Lorine Underwood.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 31, at the funeral home with the Rev. John Rudisill and the Rev. Walter Bowers officiating. Interment was in Rosedale Cemetery.
