Ellen M. Moore

Ellen M. Moore, 94, of Middleway, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Shenandoah Center, Charles Town.

Born May 28, 1919, in Shepherdstown, she was the daughter of Joseph T. Morrow and Anna V. (Licklider) Morrow.

Mrs. Moore was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by her son, Charles R. Moore and wife, Joyce, of Bunker Hill; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Denise Harden, of Baltimore, Md., and Betty Wiltshire, of Shepherdstown; brother, Robert Morrow and wife, Doris, of Norfolk, Va.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cleveland Moore, who died April 24, 1988; son, David Moore; and brother, Joe Morrow.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2014, at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town, with the Rev. Donovan officiating. Interment was at the Middleway Masonic Cemtery, Middleway.
