Florence Ann Vickers
Florence Ann Vickers, 57, of Kearneysville, died Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Canterbury Center, Shepherdstown.
Born Jan. 4, 1957, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of L. Elmer Vickers of Kearneysville, and the late Mary Catherine (Moler) Vickers.
Ms. Vickers worked at Locust Grove Farm with her family. Also, she was a caregiver for her parents.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
She was a graduate of Jefferson High School, class of 1975. She received a four-year degree from Shepherd College, and received her master’s degree from West Virginia University.
She was a member of the Eastern Star, and an active member of CEO’s, and was a 4-H Extension Agent and teacher.

In addition to her father, she is survived by a sister, Charlotte M. Vickers of Shenandoah Junction; two brothers, Lawrence E. Vickers III and wife, Debbie, of Kearneysville, and John L. Vickers and wife, Lydia, of Kearneysville. She loved her nieces and nephews, and she is survived by three nieces, Mary Beth Group and husband, Bobby, Amy Vickers, and Catherine Vickers; nephews, Larnie Vickers and wife, Samantha, and Matthew Vickers; great-nieces, Bailey Group and Kendall Vickers; great-nephew, Ty Vickers; and two uncles, Emmert G. Moler Jr. and Eleanor Ann of Martinsburg, and Fred T. Moler and wife, Helen, of Martinsburg.
Services were held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Shepherdstown, with the Rev. Bruce Barth officiating. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown.
