Beth Ann Greany Koonse

Beth Ann Greany Koonse, 58, of Munich, Germany, formerly of Shepherdstown, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014.

Born June 29, 1956, in New Rochelle, New York, she was the daughter of Ellen and Jack Greany.

After serving in the Army, Beth earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and later, a master’s degree from Loyola University Maryland. She is survived by two daughters; a son; and four grandsons.

A beloved teacher and a gifted artist, Beth will be remembered for her radiant kindness and intrepid spirit.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church.
