Patricia Lee White

Patricia Lee White, 74, of Shepherdstown, passed away Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014.

Born Feb. 19, 1940, in Omaha, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Leland A. and Kathryn M. (Fuchs) Swanson.

Mrs. White was an active member of the New Street United Methodist Church in Shepherdstown.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Edward White; three sons and their spouses, Jim White and wife, Jody, Ed White and wife, Hollis, and Andy White; four grandchildren, Ezra, Emily, Kaziah and Kaylee; and one sister, Sharon Swanson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Kay Brown.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, at New Street United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dee Ann Dixon officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at 3:15 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: New Street United Methodist Church; American Cancer Society; Jefferson County Community Ministries; or the charity of one’s choice.
