Edwin “Eddie” Lee Miller Jr.

Edwin “Eddie” Lee Miller Jr., 48, of Shepherdstown, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at his residence.
Born Sept. 14, 1966 in Baltimore, he was the son of Edwin Lee Miller Sr., of Shepherdstown, and the late Regina Sheets Miller.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He was a US Army veteran with 12 years of service. He later spent 8 years as a military government contractor helping to rebuild Iraq.
He was a master mechanic and an avid fisherman. Eddie also had a passion for gardening, managing to grow two pineapple trees in his sister’s house. His industrialism will be deeply missed.
In addition to his father, he is survived by four daughters, Amanda Bem, of New Mexico, Alicia Miller, of Salisbury, Maryland, Kyrstin Miller, of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Ariana Miller, of Shepherdstown; two sons, Edwin Miller III, of Salisbury, and Zander Miller, of Hong Kong; fiancee, Priscila Camposano, of Hong Kong; three grandchildren; two sisters, Tammy Lavoie and husband, Joseph, of Inwood, and Lisa Saghy and husband, David, of Shepherdstown; one brother, Stephen Miller, of Westminster, Maryland; and numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23, St. Agnes Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. T. Mathew Rowgh as the Celebrant.
Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery at a later date.
