Thomas Arnold D’Onofrio

Thomas Arnold D’Onofrio, 70, of Shepherdstown, passed away Friday, Dec. 26, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born Nov. 12, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the the son of the late Gus and Maryann D’Onofrio.

Tom was a film and video producer in the Washington, D.C. Area. Retired, Tom was known as a skilled woodworker, specializing in reproduction Windsor chairs. For several years, he hosted a popular workshop site on the Over the Mountain Studio Tour.

Tom is survived by his wife, Sandra; one daughter, Ariel, of Ashburn, Virginia; two sons, Paul of Keedysville, Maryland and Phillip of Olney, Maryland; three grandchildren, Juniper, Bryn and Griffin; two sisters, Gay of Nellysford, Virginia and Maryann of Berkeley, California.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by one sister, Jennifer.

Services and interment will be private.

Arrangements are by the Jefferson Chapel, Ranson.
