Irene Elizabeth Peck

Irene Elizabeth Peck, 88, of Martinsburg, passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born Aug. 15, 1926, in Berkeley County, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Jacob and Sarah Crawford Price.

She and her husband, Leonard, operated the VA Post Office for 42 years.

She was an Avon representative for over 61 years.

She is survived by two sons, L. Daniel Peck, of Shepherdstown and Michael Anthony Peck, of Martinsburg; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann McClain, of Martinsburg and Karen Gail McAdam, of Shepherdstown; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Warren H. Price, of Martinsburg; two sisters, Phyllis Sencindiver, of Martinsburg and Patricia Markley, of Gerrardstown; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Howard Peck; one sister, Peggy Price; and four brothers, Theodore, William, Richard Price and one in infancy.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Marugha officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
