Judy Charlotte Kepple

Judy Charlotte Kepple, 72, of Shepherdstown, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Copper Ridge Nursing Facility in Sykesville, Maryland.

Born Feb. 25, 1943, in Aurora, she was the daughter of Mildred Donham Teets and the late Hancell A. Teets.

For more than 30 years, she was a professor at Shepherd University and was also the director of the nursery school.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Ronald A. Kepple, of Shepherdstown; a son, Mark A. Kepple, of Wheeling; a daughter, Jill C. Lutz, of Richmond, Virginia; four grandchildren, Ashton and Juliana Kepple and Claire and Charlotte Lutz; and a sister, Sharon Teets, of Jefferson City, Tennessee.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at New Street United Methodist Church in Shepherdstown with the Rev. Dee Ann Dixon officiating. Interment will be in Aurora.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Street United Methodist Church, Shepherdstown or the Shepherdstown Day Care Center.
