Margie Ann Blostone

Margie Ann Blostone, 80, passed away peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sunday, March 8, 2015.

She is survived by her two children, Chad Blostone of Phoenix and Brette Blostone of Kirkland, Washington. She will be greatly missed.

Margie began her life in January 1935 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Arthur and Thelma Littler-Redding.

Margie was an avid student of world history and traveled extensively. After studies at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, she moved to New York where her career in the travel industry began with American Airlines. She continued her travel career, living in Los Angeles, California; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Chicago, Illinois; Toronto; Cleveland, Ohio; Athens, Greece; and Phoenix.

She was then drawn to the area where she grew up, and decided to move to the lovely town of Shepherdstown, where she enjoyed her extended family, the company of her DAR friends and many new friends. Margie was truly at home in Shepherdstown.

She will especially be missed by her son, Chad, her daughter, Brette and a loving circle of travel buddies in California. A ceremony will take place in Shepherdstown, at a later date.
