Frieda Diane Weaver

Frieda Diane Weaver, 65, of Kearneysville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at her residence.

Born Dec. 25, 1949, in Berkeley County, she was the daughter of the late James Richard and Jessie Morrow Dick.

She is survived by three sons, Richard Canby and wife, Aimee, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Jeffrey Canby and April, of Hedgesville, and Martin Canby, of Inwood; eight grandchildren; five brothers, James Dick Jr. and wife, Shirley, of Winchester, Virginia, John Dick and wife, Louise, of Tampa, Florida, Boyd Dick, of Hedgesville, Roy Dick and wife, Patricia, of Shepherdstown, and Donald Dick and wife, Alice, of Hedgesville; and two sisters, Nora Walls and husband, Ray, of Kearneysville and Mary Burkhart, of Inwood.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Oliver Clinton Dick; and a sister, Thelma Wood.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Dick and Pastor Chris Walls officiating. Interment was in Family Cemetery, Kearneysville.
