Denny Patrick Pentony

Denny Patrick Pentony, 71, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015, at his home in Martinsburg.

He was born June 12, 1943, in Martinsburg to the late Justus and Arbutus Pentony.

He graduated from Shepherd College before serving in the U.S. Army for two years. He then worked for 32 years with the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.

Mr. Pentony is survived by his wife of 46 years, Akiko Pentony; two sons, Preston and Michael; two grandchildren, Justus and Peighton; and two brothers, Barry and David.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and his brother, Richard.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
