Edwin William Wabnitz III

Edwin William Wabnitz III, 60, of Shepherdstown, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015.

Born Nov. 16, 1954, in Bethesda, Maryland, he was the son of Juanita J. Wabnitz and the late Edwin W. Wabnitz Jr.

Ed had battled cancer for several years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Steve (Jennifer); his sister, Heather Caffi (Stephan); several nieces and nephews; and many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and other relatives to whom he was so close with.

A family graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18 at Rosedale Cemetery.
