William Lewis “Willie” Pindell Jr.

William Lewis “Willie” Pindell Jr., a loving father, brother, son, grandfather, and uncle, 52, of Ranson, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, in Ranson.

Born Nov. 11, 1963, in Ranson, he was the son of Sandra Kay (Reed) Pindell and the late William Lewis Pindell Sr.

Willie had been employed with Carlyle and Anderson as a general manager. He was a former jocks agent.

He was of the Methodist faith.

He was a graduate of Jefferson High School, class of 1982, where he lettered in Tennis. He graduated from Shepherd College on a Tennis Scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in 1986.

He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #948, Charles Town, and a member of The Down Under, Charles Town.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Kay (Reed) Pindell of Ranson; a daughter, Teal Renee Pindell of Charles Town; a son, Blake William Pindell of Charles Town; a grandchild, Hayven Gray Pindell-Hyler; a sister, Dawn Marie Pindell Rivera and husband, Michael, of Charles Town; and a brother, Michael Duane Pindell and wife, Malisa, of Ocala, Florida.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Kelly Pindell.

Memorial service were held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 110 W. North St., Charles Town, with the Rev. Duane Jensen officiating. Interment was at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town.
