Carmen Michelle Ingram, 60, of Martinsburg, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at her home.

Born April 15, 1955, in Charles Town, she was the daughter of the late James Warren and Barbara Kemp Hester.

She was the former administrative assistant for Canterbury of Shepherdstown. She was a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Duffields.

Carmen is survived by one son, Desmond Williams Sr.; one daughter, Aleeah Allen; three grandchildren, Tavian, Christian and Desmond Jr.; three brothers, Ricardo Hester, Aaron and Duane Warren; six sisters, Beverly and Dawn Hester, Tinya Porter, and Toni, Tiffany and Alva Warren. A special thank-you to her extended family Betty Pearson and Angela Bailey.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Alicia Michelle Williams.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. today, at Brown Funeral Home, with Pastor Christina Dawn Reed officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

Family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. , prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Coleman Breast Cancer Fund.
